Either legalize Draft Kings and the others in Alberta or block their ads.

Interesting that the CRTC allows the advertising of products that are illegal in most of the country.

Not a great period. Boys need to come out with more fire in the second. Markstrom was shaky but hopefully settles down a bit as he’s looking more comfortable.

Where is the puck possession?
All I see the last couple of games is giveaway, chase, chase, chase, giveaway, chase, chase, giveaway.........etc.
Mix that in with some real poor defensive play and it's no wonder CAR and BUF, two teams that have speed and pressure, are having success against the Flames. The Flames need to actually hold onto the puck and make some plays. Keep giving the puck away and this game is going to get out of hand in the 2nd period.

why didn't they challenge the 2nd carolina goal? they bumped him knocked his stick away and he couldn't get the stick and get setup to make the save

Tight hockey. Not much space. Flames need to be better on the forecheck. Carolina interference is completely fine for these refs.

That might be the worst period so far this year. Getting outworked everywhere.

Ah, Flames battling a "bug". That makes a lot of sense.

Just slow all around. Zero puck support and when we get into the offensive zone we making a extra pass for no reason. Whip it up to the points which Carolina has beautify closed off.
Also we need cut down the amount Rooney Lucic and a Ritchie get and get guys like Huberdeau double shifted.
They are also starring at the puck and just slow making a play with it. Weegar struggled mightily with the puck in his stick. Is the ice bad or something?

him and markstrom both . wouldn't have hurt to have had one of those unprompted play reviews that the refs have started to do in recent times on that second goal

15.69% xGF at 5v5 in the 1st period. Ouch.

I was thinking the same thing. Wonder why they didn’t take a chance and look at it.

Personally I would have challenged that, no question. The Cane definitely initiated it.

The replay of Marky losing his stick was Stones fault.
