Kucherov hits Barkov from behind, slamming his head into the dasher. Wasn't super intentional, but none the less...he was very slow to get up.
This team cannot afford to lose Barkov with Ekblad out. Barkov to the locker room for observation.

I mean, nobody should be shocked. They're excellent players, and they will be for years to come. I fully expect both to be point per game players at least this year, even Gaudreau on a bad team.
Now, team success in the playoffs, if their team even makes the playoffs....well, that might be harder to come by.

OT in Florida.
Kucherov gets a semi-break with Tkachuk defending. Kucherov gets a semi-decent shot off, but Tkachuk rams him into the end boards, taking a penalty in the process. Kucherov down on the ice for a while after.
I hate it from an individual game perspective, but from a rivalry perspective I love it.

bit of an understatement...Tkachuk probably should have gotten 3 penalties there lol
slashed him in the back, rammed him into the boards, and then hit him when he was down
Tampa scores on the PP for the OT win (Point)

He certainly does owe an apology. Nonetheless, he is playing well and will make up for tonight in the future.

not sure what he was thinking...was lucky to only get 4 mins there honestly, guess it doesn't matter given the result
he has been suspended for less but with next to no media coverage I doubt we even hear about it
Imagine him as a Flame punching McDavid in the head while he is injured on the ice after slashing him and hitting him from behind lol

He already knew he had a penalty, he was goading a Tampa player to take one in response and betting the ref wouldn't call a second penalty on him. He was wrong.
