Troi - The patient, compassionate psychotherapist in the worst parts of Betazoid menopause resulting in her becoming a raging hormonal bitch with telepathy who takes no s*** from anyone and doesn't gaf anymore and just roasts everyone. Actually, that would be pretty cool.

Worf - The proud warrior who longed for glorious combat is now a pacifist, which leads me to believe they somehow haven't managed to cure erectile dysfunction even in the 24th century.

LaForge - Finally gets a boyfriend. And good for him.

Lore - The evil android is reassembled and reprogrammed to teach cosmetology at the Starfleet Academy School For Barbers.

Crusher - The kind and devoted doctor who took an oath to do no harm decides to take up MMA in her 80's and kicks the crap out of rooms full of people a quarter her age, while not doctoring anyone.

Moriarty - Got sick of his countess, pushed her out an airlock, and hooked up with holo Leah Brahms for steamy engine room sex. When he finds out about perv Geordi his honor is tarnished and he plans his revenge.

The new villian - Its Shinzon's mom, and she's pissed!

Holy hell, I finally got around to watching the S3 Picard trailer... the top speculation is that the villain is in fact Shinzon's daughter... lmfao.

The last 2 episodes of Lower Decks have been the best of the series, I think.

That Trailer kind of underwhelmed me.

It scared the pants off me, as it looks like they will try to wedge in a bunch of pointless fan service and further erode the legitimacy of starfleet, and the galactic scale world building that the Star Trek universe had previously achieved.

Honestly, Picard is almost worst than Discovery at this point. At least Discovery can largely be ignored. This... how can we ignore our greatest heroes? I just don't want to see them again

Yeah, I haven't been all that enamoured with Picard. The first season started well enough, and then dove head on into a really weird story line. Last year was a mess that in a way just wasted the exit of Q from the series.

If this is indeed about Shinzon's daughter or Sela's daughter out for revenge, it seems to be just more lazy fan service to me.

Also assembling a crew of senior citizens sounds more like a lower decks plot line where we see the ship running around the galaxy never going over 30 km an hour with the left blinker light on.

But I always give these shows a chance because there's a shortage of good space science fiction with the end of the Expanse for example.

I'll probably even watch the start of discovery to see if Michael dies horribly in a transporter accident that turns her inside out.

Everyone made fun of the original crew when they were making their movies. In their last movie (Undiscovered Country) DeForest Kelly was the oldest at 70. Nimoy and Shatner were 59.

LeVar Burton is the youngest of the bridge crew at 65 with Stewart being the oldest at 82.

I want to like S3 as TNG is my favourite Trek series but I'm not overly optimistic.

Just saw episode nine of Lower Decks. After what for me has been a fairly disappointing season so far this new episode got back to what made the show so good. There was actual emotional weight to the zaniness and not just a bunch of slapstick stupidity happening for a cheap laugh. Much tighter writing, with a great twist/reveal. Can't wait for the season finale next week.

Yeah, it was a really good episode but I was hoping for at least an episode where we see Mariner on Starbase 80.

Why is it so bad and why has nobody in Starfleet attempted to fix it? Inquiring minds must know!!

Finished Picard season 2. Oh boy . . . It was such a mess. I don't think Icould even write a coherent summary, so I'll point form this:


I like Rios. Undoubtedly my favourite character on the show.

Jurati was way less annoying than last season. But still like a 7.5/10 on the annoying scale

Seven and Raffi's story went nowhere

Holy #### can we just stop with the Borg already??

The Borg Queen was like a sorority girl in this. The whole storyline was utterly ridiculous.

Patrick Stewart looked really frail, somebody get this guy a lazy boy and park him in front of a fire with a book. He's earned it.

Who the #### are the watchers, the Travellers? And I guess the romulan housekeeper (Larry or whatever) we see in the final episode hasn't been recruited yet?

I actually didn't mind Q. I thought I'd hate him in this, but he was used quite sparingly.

I spent way more time trying to figure out the Guinan story of how she ended up on earth in the past than I ought to have. I even went and watched Generations again. I was under the impression she was from the Delta quadrant, I think from maybe a TNG episode? Whatever.

I want to know more about the war between the Elaurians and the Q. But I don't want the clowns running this show to tell it, I don't trust them.

Oh my God, why did they have to bring Brent Spiner into this. The show completely lost me when I saw his/Soong's face. I was actually kind of into the show for the first five episodes until he arrived.

Mirror universe. Back in time. This is all very familiar. Thank god there were no whales

Still hate Wesley Crusher.

There were like 37 subplots going on at any given time throughout the show, and few were interesting or made sense. The Borg Queen. The future Borg. Q's existential crisis. The loneliness theme with Rios/clinic doctor, Picard, the Queen. The Picard astronaut, changing the future, the Nazi alternate timeline, Soong, all the social commentary on climate change, etc etc etc etc. Jesus, is there a writer's strike going on right now?!
