42.61% xGF% at all times
48.52% xGF% at 5v5.

It wasn't that bad of a game. Buffalo players can sure shoot when they have chances.

If you looked at last years standings and assumed nothing changed then yes I can see how you get to that prediction.

Unfortunately young players with high upside get another year older and a lot of talent moved into the division (and not much left) so ya, we’ll see I guess.

Yeah, we have 7 NHL defencemen and one of them is off dealing with a personal issue, and one was out with an injury and it really - really showed tonight.

Stone is a (good) 7, and Mackey is not an NHL defenceman.

I also think that may have been the worst game I’ve ever seen from Lindy as a Flame. Maybe Marky’s flu/illness is going around?

Easy game to park though. Who cares about the Sabres and now the Flames get to go into Saturday pissed off.

How many of Montreal, Ottawa, Detroit, Buffalo do you honestly expect to be playoff teams?

I will take the under on 1.5

they are not ridiculously good, don't be ridiculous

Buffalo has a ton of young talent. Might not be playoffs this year but I think they'll be a mainstay pretty soon.

I think you nailed it at 1.5. 1 for sure maybe 2. But it’ll be close and it’s not like they’ll have bad records. Just a tough div. I can for sure see the 2 wildcard spots being Atlantic teams, absolutely.

I do find it amusing that preseason was “Montreal is going to be worst team in league other than San Jose” which turned to “fringe contender” after a few first week wins. I do agree that Buffalo will be solid but let’s not try to draw too many conclusions from 3-5 games.

Tanev had maybe the worst shift I’ve ever seen from him.

Andersson’s gaps were really soft all night.

Forward defensive coverage weak.

Oh well, long season.

Yeesh. This does not bode well for Mackey. See: Tim Ramholt

Well, this wasn't the result I was hoping to come home to. Ah, well. On to the next one

Tampa is 1-3 and Detroit is 2-0.

Getting worked up over early season results is pointless.

Allen is a good goalie. Their D may be like the worst in the league somehow but their offense is actually very good. Anderson, Dach, Suzuki, Caufield, Dadonov, Armia, Drouin, Monahan, Hoffman, Dvorak, Slafkovsky, Gallagher?

Uhh… haha. You guys think this is a terrible team? That offense is comparable to Calgary’s. I mean yes on D they are but they’re built like the Oilers that way. Do you think the Oilers are horrendous and will miss the playoffs? There are absolutely worse teams out there.

Nobody’s “worked up” people are predicting.

Not a tough concept.

Jesus.

I've got to say, I thought Toffoli was easily the best of the three on the night. The guy just gets no respect.

you did say they were "ridiculous" yet think most will miss the playoffs

Montreal is a bottom 10 team, I would bet on it

Bottom 10 lol! They were last place last year. If they end up 22nd they just improved 10 spots. So yeah, I’d say that’s pretty good wouldn’t you? You said they’d be competing for Bedard… not a chance.

I will agree with you I doubt they make the playoffs, and they aren’t as good as Buffalo or Ottawa so yeah I agree, they likely miss.

Bedard sweepstakes I think will be Arizona, Vancouver, San Jose, Philadelphia maybe.

He said the division was ridiculous not that all of the teams individually were ridiculous.
