Ah, right, misread that as thinking it was corners.

You're right that there are sidewalks on either side of the street, but I believe it is incorrect to infer that it is a legal crosswalk:
1(1)(d) “crosswalk” means
(i) that part of a roadway at an intersection included within the connection of the lateral line of the sidewalks on opposite sides of the highway measured from the curbs or, in the absence of curbs, from the edges of the roadway,
Those sidewalks run parallel to each other and there is no lateral piece providing a connection across 10 Avenue SW. The only legal crossing at this intersection is for crossing 7 Street SW.

No bud, the "lateral line" of the sidewalk on the north side of 10th Ave connects to the sidewalks going south along 7th Street. Absolutely 100% those are unmarked crosswalks and you'd absolutely be liable to get a ticket if you don't yield to a pedestrian trying to cross there.

every one is selfish in that way, to an extent . we see the world through our perspective , not in third person or any one else's .. when we make mistakes we think people are noticing .. only some of the time and it's usually quickly forgotten .. we think our problems are objectively a big deal .. but they are only to us .. we may think people are working against us , but most of the time they're just going about their business probably oblivious and living on their own head , just like we are . even if you're more aware of your surroundings or think you are more considerate than most .. chances are you're still missing instances when someone else perceives you of acting selfishly because you were in your own head . there are glaring examples sometimes where people are intentionally inconsiderate but most of the time we're all being selfish in some way ... not to rain on the parade but I find it funny when some people think they're a golden child compared to everybody else . 90% of people probably hold that same perspective though lol

Companies that register their credit card merchant account with non-descriptive names.
The worst offender I've noticed is the mobile order app for Subway. I don't order it often, but every time I do when I check my cc statement at the end of the month I can never figure out what
"STORE $8.55" was for from 3 weeks ago.
They must have just left the default/example text in when they linked to a merchant account, because that is the least informative description possible.

If any of you have made a single turn or lane change this week without signalling, you’re a useless piece of ####.

This is definitely awful and my significant other does this sometimes in public places and it pisses me off especially when it is ####ty amateur people trying to sing.
I think that part of the reason is the reliance on wireless headphones/buds. If they are drained you are screwed but people will still want to see their Tiktoks and other stuff. With a wire you never had to worry about charge level.

I'm pretty sure a bunch of people didn't drive during Covid and totally forgot how, and are now going back to their offices. I can't think of any other explanation for how much worse it is all of a sudden.

People who you're very obviously letting in that just won't move over, and people who aren't even signalling yet get mad when you won't let them in.

Flair airlines. We all know they suck, just google them and read the dozens upon dozens of news articles and posts about last minute cancelled flights with no notice, but they've somehow gone above and beyond. I don't care how cheap an airline is, there should be a bare minimum standard for service. Airlines have now joined banks and telecoms to join the holy trinity of government supported criminal enterprise.
Passenger rights in this country are a joke.

It’d be too much red tape to ensure that you get the service you paid for Cecil. Can you stop being so selfish and think about the poor shareholders for a moment?

I don't disagree, but since you know they suck why book them? I don't think there is anywhere they go you couldn't get to on a better carrier? It would likely be more expensive...

With the advent of Tik Tok I think turning this world into a climate wasteland is the nicest thing we can do for the next generation.

Yep, that's the deal - it's exceptionally cheap and you get what you pay for. But he's right that there should be a minimum standard that you're simply not allowed to sell air travel below - for example, there must be a way to get in contact with a customer service rep within a 1 hour timeframe. The time Flair cancelled my flight and rebooked me on a different one 90 minutes before it took off and then I waited on hold for an hour plus is a good example.
But Cecil is vaguebooking - what exactly did they do to you? Is it just a flight leaving two hours late? Because they do that all the time.

I would never book flair. They're garbage.
The usual stuff. Cancelling flights with no notice, no email etc. Then failing to rebook and refusing refunds. Stranding travellers at their destination with no flight home and no compensation. The usual scummy stuff.
They know that the complaint process is toothless so they don't care.

Some of it I also can't help but wonder if they're on their phones doing a work meeting while pretending to be at home. One I saw blowing a stop sign, head down, looking at phone and talking. Another I saw going 20 below speed limit, crossing a solid white and again, talking at a phone. The absolute worst offenders seem to be those who are driving distracted and not purely ####ty driving skills.
Most who are truly driving poorly because of serious degrading of of their skills, you can see them white knuckling the steering wheel.
The sole skill I've noticed that probably has to do with less driving and WFH is probably less vehicles driving unofficial official of 10 over the speed limit. They're driving speed limit or 5-10 ish below it while driving reasonably. Not truly egregious, but it certainly is adding around 10-20% to my commute in the last month or so... but in reality, this is probably just returning back to the normal of pre-pandemic rush hour commute times.
Honestly speaking though, WTF happened recently that made it seem like vehicles on the road doubled or tripled in October? Has there been a massive return to office mandate that suddenly started or something?

I've flown with them a ton of times and never anything THAT bad. They've rescheduled / rebooked flights to hours later and one time to the next day, that's as bad as it's gotten. And obviously they're always late and don't give any impression that they're even trying to reduce the amount of delay... I recently had a flight that was delayed 2 hours (fine, they told me earlier in the day), then once I was there the plane showed up a half hour later still, and then it took them almost an hour to start boarding... I mean, how does it take that long to clean up a plane and get passengers on?
But yeah, never stranded or cancelled without notice, any cancellation was immediately rebooked. All of my cheap flights are to BC airports though.
