lol, I had a girlfriend in college who worked during the day and I didn't have classes at 2, so she asked me to watch every day to keep her up to date (we couldn't afford a vcr!). It ended up getting me hooked for a couple years. I need to revisit.

This is one of my favourite new shows. The scene where Johnny Knoxville's character walks in on the kid's mom.. my wife has really gotten into knitting, so we were crying with laughter. It's SO GOOD.

I love everything about the writer’s room on the show. Has had me howling numerous times.

We just finished the last episode of Bad Sisters - really good the whole way through. I actually wish I waited to binge it, as I was really anxious to get to the finale through the last few episodes, but had to wait for a few weeks to get closure. Well done.

The Watcher (Netflix) was okay. The momentum for the first half of the show was great, and I had a hard time going to bed without watching another episode. But the third act felt a bit anticlimactic. It's a seven episode limited series

About 8-10 years ago I started watching Six Feet Under and, for some reason that I cannot recall, I stopped watching around the mid season 3 or early 4 mark. I picked it up again today as something to watch on the treadmill and I either completely missed or didn't appreciate how fantastic a pilot it had.
I'm very much looking forward to re-living (ha) this series. I also remember the reason I started it is because I heard it has an amazing series finale.

I have a huge list of shows like this. No real reason, just check out after a certain period of time regardless of how good the show is.

Started binging Ted Lasso on Sunday, and I see why it has so much acclaim.
Just watching S2E10 (only two more left after this), and...

Night Sky (Amazon Prime) - any good? Should my wife and I start it tonight?
Edit: actually, forget it. Looks like it was cancelled after 1 season.

My wife and I watched one episode, and we barely made it through that. Something that is a similar genre of science fiction on Amazon Prime but way more entertaining (and has been picked up for a second season) is Outer Range.

Ok I am sure I am late to this party, but Atlanta.
What a great series so far.
Mid-way through season 1

If you like that style, check out The Bear. Same show runner (Hiro Murai), and kind of the same style.

Then found Atlanta.

Both Atlanta and The Bear are fabulous.
What isn't fabulous is Severance. Or maybe it is and I just don't get it? Or maybe it gets 'better' (3 episodes in).
Would appreciate understanding what I seem to be missing. The word that comes to mind when I think about it is annoying.

Severance was definitely hard to get into - it took us at least a couple episodes. But by the end, we couldn’t watch it fast enough. I think the concept is so weird and abstract, it seems really boring to set the stage.

It's super weird at first, but it gets really good. Stick with it. It will still annoy you at times because you want more explanation.

Just finished Outer Range on Prime - pretty fantastic sci-fi/western series, it burns slow and gives few answers, but there will be a season 2. Josh Brolin is good in it.

As has been mentioned Severance is exceptional, it has a "The Prisoner" vibe to it for me.
I really enjoyed it and can't wait for season 2, wait is there a season 2?
Also, big shout out to Resident Alien as series more people should watched, it is odd, funny, weird, generally all over the place in a great way.

I was perusing The Simpsons' Treehouse of Horror specials, and watched the Thanksgiving of Horror episode from 2019. It was great. Both the Turkey segment and cranberry sauce segments were so on point.

Severance, season 1, was incredible.
If you’ve got a career in a large corporate structure, it’ll resonate in a funny yet very disturbing way.
