Looch was an absolute beast tonight, and had the crowd going, every shift. When he plays like that, he is a really effective player.

Thought Coleman and Backlund were effective as well.

So far I'd say zero passengers on this team. None. That's incredible.

I'd like to see how Loubo does with Ball, try it one of the days Hrudey is in Toronto

I’m in the minority but was never a Tkachuk guy. Just anti pretty much everything I stand for in hockey. Really enjoying the new identity of this team with him no longer in the mix.

For me the team that wanted it more got the win. That was an impressive win for the Flames. They just kept pouring it on after the first 10 mins. A rather rusty looking Markstrom to start didn't hurt the team, or its momentum. I think Markstrom's game will tighten up rather quickly and then look out.

As for Toffoli, man he could've scored 3-4 tonight. The 1 goal was clutch, and I think the first line is going to click at even strength sooner than later. I also liked Sutter trying switching Lindholm with Kadri in the 3rd, both lines didn't lose a beat despite changing centers which was great to see.

This team looks dangerous, and more importantly it looks relentless. I got tired just by looking at all the hard work the boys put in on a nightly basis. This is what makes me the most optimistic. You score by committee, you check by committee and you push the puck up the ice by committee. It doesn't matter when there's a bad bounce, or a hot goalie, the players trust the system, keep pushing, and willing the team to a win.

When I think what Dallas paid for Oettinger vs what Edmonton paid for Campbell, I can't help but smile. Then I have to give my head a shake and say hey stop smiling dummy you ####ing hate Dallas.

Could never get over the mouth guard thing. Hope he loses teeth in Florida.

Really? That’s disappointing considering the talent on the team. Guess their play will have to sell more seats.

Ritchie drew 3 penalties tonight. Nice too see that line in the right side of the penalty differential.

with Tkachuk and gaudreau it was "ill try when I feel like it"

with the huby core it is "we're here to do a job"

13 & 19 would routinely take second periods off and it would trickle down through the team . I have not seen three straight 60 minute efforts like this in a long long while

One of Tyler Toffoli's best games as a Flame. He was outstanding.

Nah. If he does, he'll make a fortune doing denture endorsements.

TT on a 55 goal pace and with a little luck that could be double right now.

People still trying to move him down the lineup lol

Treliving has done an amazing job assembling this team. Character and skill top to bottom. Everyone has a role and the team plays with swagger and purpose. It's going to be a fun ride!
