Is there an actual rule on how long a team can take to make a decision on calling for a challenge?

3 impressive wins to start the year. I like what I see so far.

100%.
His call tonight was completely different than his call on Saturday. So much so that it took me more than a few minutes of listening before I could even figure out who was calling the game with Loubo. I really enjoyed him tonight.

Supposed to be 30 seconds IIRC.

Yeah I thought the ref is supposed to drop the puck 30 seconds after a stoppage, whether the players are lined up or not.

Few things that stood out to me;
1) The pp looks so much more in control and poise in the zone with Hub and Kadri, they get pressure and it doesn't phase them, they simply use their smarts and positioning to protect the puck and move it.
2) I was fully expecting Vegas to get a couple PPs in the 3rd after the barrage of penalties on Vegas in the 2nd, and Vegas really got nothing and it didn't give them any momentum. Flames simply killed and went back to work on the attack. The maturity level of the group is standing out.
3) Like everybody is mentioning the 4th line looks terrific, Ritchie looks like a completely different player. Showing some poise and although hes always had the ability to skate, looks a step quicker this year.

For sure, not suggesting he was bad, just feel like he’s a bit miscast on that line…. Would like to see a bit more speed and finish to play with backs and cole. Nitpicking at this point. Team looked great tonight.

This Flames team just feels good. Maybe not quite as flashy as last year, but overall they may just be better.
I'm getting a Kadri jersey.

The idiots at Rogers just can't f***ing help themselves.
Anyways, great comeback win. Clearly establishing who is dominant in the Pacific.

Yeah, I like Loubo but Ball is arguably one of the best in the biz, light years ahead of what we heard tonight. It's neat for a game or two to mix things up but Ball/Hrudey are fantastic.
We are spoiled. Sometimes the grass isn't always greener on the other side.

It feels like a team. Everybody contributes and no attitude issues. With Tkachuk and Gaudreau, something was just a bit different.
This is better.

Wonder what happens when we start to bury our chances, or not have every goalie we play turn into a hall of famer.

I think you upgrade Toffoli's spot and move Toffoli to the third line.
