I think Ciona has a word to say about not being ranked.

Honestly comparing this to actual draft results is a fools errand.

Pronman is horrible at sticking with his own pre-draft rankings and not really moving players much.

No idea how Knies is so high, or how him and Lucius rank above Coronato, who outperformed both in NCAA/WJC . Zellweger and Stankoven make sense as big movers though.

Interesting the drop he’s made for Coronato. Thought he looked great at the World Juniors in the summer. Has his NCAA season started yet?

Doesn't look like it. I don't see stats for him or any of his teammates yet.

Our drafting hasn't been as strong the past few years as opposed to the years when we were regularly uncovering gems outside of the first round (Anderson, Kylington, Mangiapane, Dube, Fox, Ruzicka, Phillips, etc.)

Stromgren and Kuznetsov sting in particular.

Kuznetsov will be fine, he's going to take another year or 2 but IMO has a lot of upside as a large stay at home D. Stromgren... well, he's playing in the SHL now at least. Boltmann another strange 2nd rounder.

Boltmann was a 3rd rounder.
But strange none the less.

It could be completely different in 6 months though

Concept of redrafts I really like as an article, but you need 3 years, probably closer to 5, to get a real picture of how the draft has turned out

Yeah those two should have went higher in their draft year too, so not that surprising.

Had WHL played that season both are likely mid-late first rounders based on their d-1 production, but size + not playing that year made them drop.

The point is that it's a look at how things stand after the prospects' D+1 years. Obviously it's not a final assessment, but it's not intended to be either.
