I love how when we talk about our center depth on social media we'll get "well actually" replies from Oiler fans shrieking about how McDavid/Draisaitl/RNH is better and even Canuck fans trying to say that Pettersson/Miller/Horvat is better. why are they so dishonest? those aren't your centers. you don't use those players in those roles.

But didn’t you know that Woodcroft brings a much different approach? It’s hilarious. They almost played for 25 mins last night hahahahaha

Draisaitl really isn’t a center, he really shouldn’t be listed as such given the amount of time he is with McJesus.

now I don't know if this is true or not (Michaels implied Woodcroft said this in a presser) but why in the world as a coach would you bring that up and I guess discredit your opponent, I don't understand the psychology there

Crazy how there hasn’t been even a whisper with what’s going on with Kylington from Swedish or local media.

Hoping for the best for this guy whatever it is. Was a fan of his since his draft year as I know many are.

Just can’t help but wonder what “it” is.

I'm not sure it's that crazy the media is respecting his privacy, probably wouldn't be the case in Edmonton, Vancouver, Toronto, or Montreal.

Same.

I also think it's going to do wonders for Dube and Mangiapane to play with a center like him. I hope Dube especially soaks in everything Kadri has to teach him because I think he has the attributes to be a very similar player.

rehab for addiction or family illness are the two reasons I can come up with given the length of time and how quiet things are . either way I wish him the best

Good for the local media respecting his privacy and not pressing the issue.

I was listening to the post game call in show after the Avs game though and one caller did mention it and they shut down the discussion really quickly. But my heart sank a little because they said it was a very serious situation for him and that he deserved privacy and support.

I have noticed that he has still been active on social media. He hasn't been posting himself, but he has been liking a lot of the Flames posts and posts from teammates.

That would maybe indicate it’s not rehab for substance abuse? Wouldn’t they take away your phone in a situation like that?

Treliving already said it wasn't substance abuse.
