I hope Kadri is this generations Pavelski and he is just getting started. I have been loving his game. I think when this team really starts to mesh it is going to be domination. I feel like we could truly have an elite team on our hands here and all the pregame hype is legit. Go Flames Go…..I am tipsy

I was also there, dutifully PVRing and of course I made the mistake of glancing up walking out through Duttons and saw the score.
The good news - I looked away so fast I got it backwards and got a lovely surprise when I got home and whipped through the game.

Kadri is a great addition, both because of his own play and character and because having Backlund on the third line makes that line stand out so much. Backlund is kind of ridiculous as a third line center and seeing the depth now with Kadri and Backlund in the middle six is striking.
