And not playing him can give him the impression you don't trust him which is never good for your starter.

Edmonton isnt worried about defence, which is why they never upgrade.
They strictly try to out score their opponents, it’s their only hope.
Also rely heavily on their PP which they seemingly draw a ton of because of McSaitl, so we have to stay out of the box and Markstrom can’t get rattled.

Vladar in the starters net tells you that Sutter thinks the Oilers are in Markstrom’s head / impact to confidence and I would say he’s correct. Also, Vladar is also awesome and IMO almost as good as Markstrom anyway. Our goaltending is unreal with Wolf sitting back there in slot 3 too.
