I’ve been in an airplane with a window hundreds of times. I don’t see why I’d want to do the same thing in a wicker basket.

When I was in university I dated a girl that won a hot air balloon ride for two.

We spent 90 mins driving around the NW trying to find where the balloon was launching from (this was pre-cell phone world).

We never did find the location, but the day wasn't a bust. We went home and had sex.

But it would have been so much better in the balloon.

Could have checked it off his ‘bucket’ list.

Have bottled Coke products gotten more carbonated recently or is it possible that someone's palate can become more sensitive to the carbonation with age? Coke and Sprite seem to be especially bad to me. Pepsi I can drink easily though.

I’ve always found those two had more bite than others.

Did anyone else get a toy catalog from Amazon this week?

It was like a flashback to my childhood and getting the Consumers Distributing and Sears Christmas catalogs. I never imagined it was something Amazon would start sending out.

Young lady who clearly had spent the last few days not inside, pushing a modern stroller with reasonably clean stuff, with some sort of dissociative thing going on, walked by me and my child today. She said something about her pain, kissed her empty stroller and walked into somewhere in the facility I couldn’t go. Pretty much killed me.

That was hard to read. I hope she gets the help she needs…

One of things on my bucket list is to see the Leafs win a Stanley Cup in color.

I get a cheap kick out of grown men getting salty about losing in beer league hockey.

Some of the most petty behavior from full grown adults that I have ever witnessed was when I was a beer league referee.

I don't know how many Teslas are on the road, but surely it must be disproportionate to the number that I find myself driving behind.

Amen to that.

If you ever had the pleasure of doing the Heritage League you know all about this. Half those guys were expecting a call from the Flames.

When was the last time you saw a coo coo clock?

They fascinate and annoy me at the same time.

That reminds me of my childhood. We had a few German clocks at home and I have no idea what ever happened to those. I think they were actually pretty expensive so I assume they must be buried in a box somewhere at my mom's place.

That reminds me of grandfather clocks now too. I loved watching the mechanisms go up and down.

Does anyone own (or know anyone who owns) a grandfather clock? They've always fascinated me too.
