Same. Scorp is the only one in that circle with any real credibility. The rest of them are just fanboys (which would be fine if they didn't try act like insiders).

If it's not coming from a verified source it's probably not worth posting here as a rumour.

Yeah. No one credible was discussing it. A couple SAIT students posted about it and everyone ran with it because one of the guys had info on the Coleman signing (which, honestly, who knows if he even did, it could have been a lucky guess).

No one verified or with real connections mentioned it.

I think these Twitter people do probably have some sort of connection, who may have heard rumblings of something, and tried to be the first to break it.

As someone with a connection very high up in the org, I can confirm a lot of rumors and things get brought about/said aloud, that never come to fruition.

I do hope this was a learning point for all of these Twitter insiders.

I wonder if no captain is a deliberate choice to shield to whoever it would be from greater media obligations more than anything else. Also keeps that person from being a scapegoat if they hit a rough patch.

Yeah Scorp is good in that he's not in the rumor mongering game (unless it's about jerseys which is more just his passion than anything).

If Scorp has something related to the team (and he's had some stuff he hasn't posted on here too), it's generally meant something is imminent within like the next couple of hours.

I don't see Ryan Pike really speculate on anything at all TBH, to me he's more of a straight forward journalist with no real speculation.
