I really doubt Valimaki clears. In fact I doubt he even makes it past the first ten teams.

I'm going out on a limb and saying both Zohorna and Valimaki are claimed (I'm usually wrong, which means they both will probably clear).

Pittsburgh would want the big guy back. If they don’t, nobody else would want him
I doubt anyone would want Valimaki draft pedigree or not.

I think it was his major injuries. He got Monahan'd before he got started.

If Valimaki was making the league minimum, I think a team would probably take a flyer on him. That extra $550k or so of cap hit matters though.
This is why it is better for players who are trying to break in to the NHL, to accept a lower salary.

With Sutter getting an extension Valimaki is probably hoping someone picks him up. He’ll never be on the big club while he’s here. There are probably 2 or 3 ahead of him now when Kylington comes back.

No kidding. If OK played in Toronto there would be multiple tabloid hacks going through the garbage bins at his house right now.

Maybe Calgary is not this awful market for hockey players that some make it out to be.

if juuso is claimed it saves us cap . won't be heartbroken as much as I was rooting for him to put it together . would be funny if Edmonton claimed and he stunk it up on their third pair

Valimaki has done nothing to show he's belonged.

I think Arizona is going to claim Joey Daccord. They need a goalie with Johansson hurt and I think he'd be the first ASU alum to play for the Coyotes.
