Something I've always wondered...
When the WHA formed in 1972, Calgary was supposed to have a team called the Broncos. The team never got off the ground, but I've seen this logo floating around the internet for years. If it was the legit intended logo or just a theoretical one I don't know:
I've always wondered if Blasty was intended (directly or not) as a tribute to this Broncos logo. Seeing the profile version of him got me thinking about it again.

Side Blasty looks awesome. I'd be open to it as a main logo for a future 3rd alternate jersey someday. Definitely a step up from front view Blasty.

Pretty cool. I think there’s a missed opportunity in not having side Blasty’s mane the same outline as the C, ala Omaha Knights logo.

Part of me is thinking that they've screwed up the shoulder patches by putting the Flaming C on the left shoulder. The Flaming C should go on the right shoulder with a mirrored Blasty on the left so that the flame trails on both patches are stretching to the back of the jersey. Maybe I'm wrong. Hope it looks good.
