$6.5M and that's not even the best Lindholm.
Edit: I know I should be hopping for a discount, but Lindy is one player I would love to see finally get paid.

There are so many qualifiers in that one statement it hurts my eyes to read.

On the whole, taking one thing with another, considering the pros and cons, not to be hasty, at the end of the day, it might be possible that I may or may not agree with you.
I suppose.

There is a solid top four which shouldn’t be touched IMO.

Kylington struggled after he was likely concussed and should have missed time but didn’t.
His struggles without Tanev in the playoffs were exaggerated too.

He was actually still pretty damn good even without Tanev in the playoffs.

And let’s not forget that Kylington was also playing with a shoulder injury—if not of the severity of Tanev’s injury—in the playoffs.

The stats may have said he was 'still pretty damn good', but we all watched and he really struggled. I think these stats are likely misleading due to small sample size.

No, we really didn’t. Markstrom sunk the series against Edmonton, that’s pretty much the truth of it.
On the ice for 7GF and 4GA - those aren’t fancy misleading stats. That’s “oh he was on the ice for nearly double the amount of goals for as goals against.”
If we want to talk about unquantifiable statements, I’d argue that Hanifin and Andersson were the two who struggled without Tanev in the line-up because their roles increased in responsibility that they weren’t ready for (yet)…although that may be entirely quantifiable, but I just haven’t looked.

Looks awesome. Offensive instincts are great, I see him in the slot a bunch and he's got the wheels to get back into the play if it goes back up the ice.

I’m not saying he struggled per se. I’m saying he took a step back after his hot start. He may have hit a plateau, injury or not. Lack of a training camp won’t help as well.

He creates a bunch by beating the first guy then looking pass option. Really opens up the ice.
Have always wanted Kylington to be quicker with the puck and not standing still stick handling (don't get me wrong Kylington improved in many other ways). Now he may have someone close to home to emulate.

Reading about all the things he does well, once you get to see it is unbelievable at all the little things that lead to the puck going up the ice. The ability to kill plays with his stick quickly and transporting the puck up the ice himself, making the outlet pass and creating confusion by joining the attack. Can't wait to watch him through the whole season.

I sure hope Kylington is okay, and that he returns to Calgary soon—physically and mentally healthy, and ready to go.

If I had to make one complaint or criticism, it would be that he may have a bit of tunnel vision when exiting the zone. We all know the pass from behind his own net right onto Kucherov's stick in the playoffs and I've seen him throw it into his own slot once already with the Flames.
The smallest of sample sizes on that, and nit picking at this point, but something to watch.
