10:30 is the perfect start time. The start of Marek at 10:00 is usually listenable as it’s usually news with Elliotte or other good co-host centered around the previous nights games and latest happenings. However by 10:30 I’d rather blow my brains out than listen to another 90 of Marek by himself.

Funny thing is I just went to the FlamesNation YouTube site and even though I have watched many of their videos I never noticed I missed the fact that Steinberg has many of them on there as well under the Nation Network banner. I always assumed he was just doing Sportsnet stuff. He must be doing work for them and Sportsnet I assume and obviously no conflicts at least so far.

Or him with Wyshynski. Its basically 20+ minutes of them trying to out smarm each other. I generally like Marek, but those 2 together are unlistenable.

Yeah this is a perfect alternative for Marek after 10:30 timeslot. I'm still disappointed they pulled Rome. I certainly get how he's not for everybody, especially the listeners who only follow Flames/hockey. But can we at least have him during the NFL season? Like it or not, it's still the most popular pro league on the continent. Deserves some non-gambling/fantasy related talk.

Pretty pumped to have the Morning show back outside of the control of Rogers, in a podcast and youtube format. The office space is more than I expected. They might actually be better funded than they were at the Fan 960

That answers my questions. And 10:30 is a perfect time. Looking forward to it for sure. No knock against "Princey" (sp) as he may end being great as that background producer voice, but it's too bad they couldn't lure back in DeForest. That guy cracked me up.
