Len's also our MP and I can say that his list doesn't reflect our attitude or our 'change in the wind' in the slightest...

There's a difference between doing stupid things, and being stupid. Even the smartest voters can be fooled...yes, even 3 times.
I've always thought that the main reason for sticking with Trudeau, in spite of his failings, were:
- Weak opposition
- Various political games played by the Liberals
- Many voters lulled into a state of apathy i.e. no real pressing need to change. Times were too good for many voters in the most populated parts of Canada. Things like the wealth effect from real estate, low interest rates, low inflation, easy borrowing, low food and energy costs, government handouts, etc.
I think the real consequences of the Trudeau years are just beginning, and will become more clear and obvious with time.
just my opinion

Stupid are the people losing to Trudeau because they are too far right and then deciding going further right is the answer

GDP grew by 15.95% under Harper over almost 10 years.
As of June 2022 GDP (last stats Canada number) grew by 12.66% in just over 6 and a half years under Trudeau. Obviously Trudeau had a worse economic recession that affected the entire world, but despite that it is reasonable to expect GDP to grow at a higher rate between 2016 and 20025 than it did from 2006 until 2015.
From 97-06 GDP grew by 37% under Chrétien/Martin, so even having a stronger record than the Conservatives on the economy may not be enough to save Trudeau.

Personally I'm still waiting for the people living in a fantasy land where money grows on tree to tell me how a small business who is paying carbon tax when they heat their building with propane should find the funds to install alternative sources of heat.
It costs literally hundreds of thousands of dollars more to do anything else.
Top 1% income level CP users who don't have much else to do with their time than argue on hockey forum how poor people should just suck it up and buy an EV or install solar panels. Gotta love it. But at least PepsiFree came by with a driveby that as usual contributed nothing.

I am still trying to help out the people travelling around in a horse and buggy because Henry Ford’s cars are too expensive, so I hear you.

What a dumb post, but exactly in line with the elitist stupidity evidenced in this thread.
"Buy an EV and slap on some solar panels if you don't want to pay the carbon tax."
What was the income poll again? Top 1%? Really telling in this thread.

The juxtaposition between ecomics and the environmental concerns is a pervasive trope.
It is positioned that environmentalism negatively effects low income folks. While this can be true, it is also true that high income folks affect the environment disporportionally.

Weren’t you going on and on about how every building should completely revamp their ventilation system during COVID?
Maybe you should have bought a solar panel instead of a Big Ass Fan?

He spent an entire year obsessively talking about it and trying to make fun of me for saying tens of thousands of dollars each spent for every single business, classroom, and other public setting for improved ventilation wasn’t realistic. So, I assume he just forgot and will thank me for bringing it up.
Cause we gotta band together to fight those 1% guys in fantasyland, you know?
