I havn't even heard of most of the shows being discussed here. Out of sight out of mind, I guess. Thats the great thing about tv now. There are so many choices. If you don't like something change the channel. As long as HBO keeps pumping out great series after series, I'm happy.

Very true.
I remember I heard Springsteen singing "57 Channels and there's nothin' on." and thinking "WOW, 57 channels!" That was a lot when, growing up without cable, I had 4 (CBC affiliate (10), CTV (13), if I turned the antenna Global (6), and TVO (18))

Now with a dish (Star Choice) there are hundreds of channels.

But it is still annoying when House is delayed for 5 weeks so American Idol can run long shows. And My wife despises when shows are delayed or show reruns because of major sporting events.

I really only get annoyed when good shows are canceled and yet other pieces of tripe seem to go on and on. I never got in to AD, but I understand people's feelings and wonder who that is canceled and yet According to Jim or King of Queens (both of which I thought were done 2 years ago) are still running.

Well lucky for me I don't. I'm realizing more and more that I watch only three channels, (and mainly only two) Comedy Central, Cartoon Network (mainly only for Futurama and Aqua Teen Hunger Force!), and NHL Center Ice.

I think the internet killed my desire to watch tv.

I'm going out on a limb here and admitting that I actually enjoy The War at Home. It's not the greatest show ever, not by a long shot but I liked watching it between Simpsons and Family Guy when it used to be on Sundays.

I will echo the CSI: Miami sentiment though. David Caruso is so wooden he should be coaching UCLA. Even though I liked the original CSI when it first came out, there's far too much "Let's just bring up a satellite recreation of the murder scene on our computer... there we go - Aha! There's the killer" and "The evidence never lies" stuff going on for my tastes.

But you still have to pay for all those other stupid channels just to get the ones you watch... sad.

Mostly though he sits in his office and lets all of the others do the work, I'm pretty sure that the only application on his computer is Solitaire and Youtube.

How about cancelling networks? The only shows I watch on The Comedy Network are The Daily Show and The Colbert Report, and those are also shown on CTV. The ads for the other shows on this network (Keys to the VIP? You Bet Your Ass?) make me wonder how it possibly stays on the air.

I watch too much TV as it is, they should probably cancel some shows that I watch out of habit. I'm talking about stuff like ER, Corner Gas, 24. I still mostly enjoy those shows, but cancelling them would probably be better for me in the long run.

When the War At Home debuted last fall I said "Well, it's nice to know which show will be cancelled first". I should have been right.. I wasn't..but man I should have been. What a horrible show. Rappaport was kind of talented in the late 90's.

All the useless cult following shows that get no real viewership, people pretend to watch religiously but actually couldn't care less until they read it's cancelled, then they realize they haven't watched said show in 2 months.... Oh wait those are the shows that get cancelled!

American Idol FTW! They can sucker 30 million people to watch and pay $1 a vote! Just as a social example of exploitation of stupidity it can remain!

How about every CBC show, can we please cancel all these. In fact, kill the channel, give my tax dollars back, and see if anyone notices

I'm pretty sure I would miss HNIC.

Also, the Rick Mercer Report is very funny. This Hour has 22 Minutes has its moments.

So you're adept at making generalizations, assumptions, and insulting others. Good for you! You must be a South Park watcher!
