You missed Gilbert and Meloche at least (I think) who have also at least had a cup of coffee or two in the show.

Oh and Schwindt played a few games last year for the Panthers when they were going through their Covid spell.

Like you, I'm not sure how many games counts as "vet" but there are a few there. Total games played in the NHL added up from all the players for the Flames likely doesn't match Eberle alone for the Kraken though.

(c) A Club shall be permitted to dress a minimum of eight (8) veterans for any Exhibition Game. For purposes of this Section 15.4(c), a veteran shall constitute either:

(1) a forward or defenseman who played in thirty (30) NHL Games during the previous season,

(2) a goaltender who either dressed in fifty (50) or more NHL Games or played in thirty (30) or more NHL Games in the previous season,

(3) a first round draft choice from the most recent year's Entry Draft, or

(4) any Player who has played one-hundred (100) or more career NHL Games.

It's 30+ NHL games played last season or 100+ total. Goalies also qualify if they dressed for 50+ last season. Also, first round picks from the most-recent draft also qualify.


The only players who meet those criteria on this roster are:

1. Vladar (only 24 games played last season, but he dressed for more than 50)
2. Dube (30+ last season & 100+ career)
3. Milano (30+ last season & 100+ career)
4. Eakin (30+ last season & 100+ career)
5. Valimaki (prorated games played in 2020-21 puts him over 100+ in his career)
6. Meloche (30+ last season)

Ruzicka only played in 28 games last season, but they may have received permission to count him because it's so close to 30.


No one else on the roster comes close to meeting any of the criteria.
