Manoah is the man. He just shows up when you need him to. I hope they don’t need him at the end of the season because I’d like to see it go Manoah, Stripling, Gausman (if necessary) in the wild card round. If they can win in two games, you’d have Gausman, Berríos (eek), and Manoah on a good amount of rest to start the ALDS.

Berrios really is the Forrest Gump box of chocolates...you never know what you're going to get. If you have a home game 4...maybe. on the road it's a leap of faith to trust him.

Kirk DHing, Jansen catching for Stripling. How long is Gurriel Jr. out for?

I've mostly been watching NFL today but 2 of 3 times I've flipped to Jays game I've seen both Springer and Teo hit HR on first pitch I see

Two strikeouts, a HBP and a walk is a very Kikuchi inning

Nice to destroy Tampa and get the split without using any top relievers. Plus nice to get to their ace finally. Nice bounce back start from Stripling too.

When it was 0-0 in the 6th of yesterday's game I really thought a sweep was a likely outcome. Whit came through with a massive shot and the bats showed up for the split today. What an amazing turn of events all things considered. They're now 2 up on the Rays with 9 to go. Seattle is sticking around 1.5 back if they hold onto the lead today. Both teams have the tiebreaker on the Jays. If the Jays can take care of business and win their remaining 3 series and go 6-3 home field should be their's.

Stripling is just the man. If it wasn't for Manoah being an absolute unit I think he is the MVP of this team. The way he stepped up for a battered rotation and consistently gives them quality starts is just awesome.

This rollercoaster of a season is winding down but I think the vibes are definitely positive at the point. Now go sweep them damn Yanks. The most overrated BS team with a player having a fluke season. Knock them down a peg will ya?

Magic numbers to finish ahead of each team:

SEA: 9
TBR: 8

BAL: 5
CHI: 1

Any combinations of Jays wins plus given team losses, totalling the number eliminates them with respect to finishing ahead of the Jays
