I can't express how happy I am that Valimaki showed up in peak condition.
It shows he's hungry, he wants it. That guy actually working out for the Flames would be a huge boon.

Yeah, if he could repeat the jump that Kylington did last year, it would be massive.

No worries, apparently the prospect games are 100% meaningless and aren’t used in any way at all when making decisions.

Kadri with eakin is pretty silly. Other than that, it's fine

And much like injuries gave Kylington a shot last year...it's possible that Kylington's personal issues give Valimaki a shot to impress this year.

What do you mean? I for one hope that dynamic duo holds for the entire season.

Treliving said he is a bottom line forward, he wont be in the top 6 he is just filling in for Mangiapane. You don't want to disrupt the other lines by moving guys around. The team needs to build chemistry and quick.

Sources* tell me that Kadri is unhappy and has requested a trade because of this terrible treatment on the first day of training camp.

Idunno guys, kinda looks like Cammalleri put on a goofy wig and has fooled flames management into thinking he's Milano.
Milano probably tied up in a van outside the dome.

Called, nobody knew.
Emailed season ticket rep - Had no idea
Tweeted & messaged on facebook - Nothing.
45 minute drive from Cochrane to be told its closed.. priceless.
Oh well.

This is just ridiculous. I called the dome today about the closed practices. Of course it is coming from hockey ops side of things but I still told the guy how wrong it is to have closed practices. The practices are going to be closed all year from what Was told. Things like this really turn you off from the team. Its like give us your money but keep away. Closed practices is just ridiculous. A lot more people need to be complaining about this.Especially season ticket holders and maybe put some pressure on them to change.

I feel like they nailed it. Eakin is clearly a placeholder for Mangiapane. The only small gripe could be Milano and Coleman could be swapped but I get keeping Backlund and Coleman together and giving Milano a shot at top 6

Meh... never understood the desire to watch practice anyway. If Sutter thinks this is the best thing for the team then I am all for it.
Could have occasional open practices or something to make up for it.
