Training Camp Day 1 Notes
Looks like last year's strategy of keeping the NHLers together continues.
Pospisil with the NHL group is interesting. Presumably to fill in for Mangiapane, but over Pelletier?

Both RWs, but I’d love to see Klapka and Phillips on the same line in group B.

Treliving said Mangiapane will be skating by himself for awhile.
With him in group 1 they have 16 forwards, so presumably he won't be skating with the rest of the group so they can run 5 forward lines with the 15 other players

Interesting to note:
-Assuming Kylington shows on Group 1 at some point, only 2F and 3D to cut,
-Valimaki has a strong chance to make the NHL (and a stronger chance than Mackey?),
-Flames not pencilling in Pelletier on the 3rd line,
-Group 1 = NHL, Group 2 = AHL, Group 3 = other?

He is old enough to play in the A, but also can play as an overager in the OHL.

'02 born so could play junior as an overage but given that he is signed, will likely play pro.
