Oilers made Kane the best offer by far IMO
If he turned down more money we would would have certainly heard about it.
Hyman may have chose them to play with McDavid but it certainly wasn't a discount.
Flames have 100% signed more high end free agents than the Oilers so the original argument doesn't hold up.
