I'm still not sure Bombers win 1st overall. Need 1 more win against the Lions.

The CFL officiating is awful.

I still think this team can compete for championship just need luck on our side. Jake looks to be the real deal. Dave is still the same coach who coached the juggernaut teams from 14-19 I don't think it's coaching. We lost a ridiculous amount of talent after our 18 cup win, and that's telling as to how talented that group was.

Get hot going into the playoffs and flip the script.

I’m told Cam Judge sucker-punched Lucky Whitehead. Apparently happened on the field at the end of the game. Campbell was not happy

Ultimately, I can only report what I have been told. I was told Whitehead repeatedly said things about Judge’s family, which led to a confrontation after the game and a punch.

Lions then came across the parking lot to Stampeders dressing room and yelling ensued.

should have sucker punched the ref for that offside call...notice they only showed it one time and then pretended it never happened even though that play made the difference

Officiating aside the defense just isn't good enough. In fact it's league worst in a lot of categories. Giving up 300 yards passing a game to every QB they face but this is the byproduct of the worst pass defense in a passing league. This is why they are 0-5 against the Bombers and Lions as the defense can't hold on to a lead or gives up the winning drive. They basically let BC just walk into the end zone in OT without mustering up any obstruction.

Ruffin really struggled in this game.

Washington has his moments but hes just ok.

The secondary has too many new guys. Stamps have 11 guys on 6 game IR and 7 of them are DBs. Our DBs can't seem to stay on the field this year. That doesn't include Dozier who just came off the IR.

Having Roberson and Wall would go long ways. They were high on Elliott and Branch as well, hopefully couple of these guys can get healthy for the playoffs.

Lots of things to point to in that game. Kick a 48 yard FG (or make some better play calls in that final drive) and you win the game.

I don't ever like to blame the officials for a loss so won't start here. But the quality is a huge issue. If you miss a call, sure that happens. But there were embarrassing phantom calls on both sides and that is inexcusable. Don't throw a flag unless you're sure, no need to be looking for reasons to call penalties.

I am as old school as it gets when talking about how pro sports used to be played vs what they are now. Loved that guys on "my team" literally hated guys on the other team, both on and off the field of battle and whatever the sport.

But to this day (and as it has always been).....you take that stuff into the real world and not a part of any game underway? **
