If anyone wants a couple seats on the bus to Edmonton this weekend please let me know. I grabbed 4 originally but just had two buddies back out. Not worried about the cost but don't want these to go to waste! Basic gist is bus leaves around 9:30am from Max Bell and then gets back around 8:30pm on Saturday.
You'll still need your own tickets to the game which are under $20. I can provide the link for tickets with the supports away section if you'd like.
Just adding the casual details that we have a liquor license on the bus and a bathroom as well. The bus ride up in May was an awesome time and I highly recommend it.

Our boy Joel Waterman just got his first call up to the national team! Given the CB situation he should get a look in at least one of the friendlies vs Qatar and Uruguay.

We've had 15 people back out of the supporters bus to Edmonton in the last few days. Wouldn't be surprised if we don't run any busses up to Edmonton next year.

Are these people who said they wanted a spot but never paid, or people who paid but decided not to go?
Thought Cavalry weren't their strongest on the afternoon and they are really struggling in creating chances in attack. Alarcon's cross to Mason for the header was amazing. 3 points probably locks up the playoff spot.
Great away trip as always. Probably 40 people or so on the bus and lively as always. Was definitely hungover by the time we got back to Calgary at 8 pm.

The league also confirmed that, beginning next year, it will retroactively honour previous regular season champions, including 2021 table-toppers Forge FC.

Such a CPL thing to mention Forge winning this award retroactively, but not Cavalry for 2019. I wouldn't be surprised if they skip over the 2020 Island Games not because it wasn't a full season, but because Forgery didn't finish first after the initial round robin but we did.
Still, I'd love to see the Cavalry bring back some players for a 2019 reunion /award ceremony when they finally have the actual trophy in place for 2023.
Sounds like Kelowna could have a team within a few years. Likely called the "Kelowna or Okanagan Spirits".
Foothills may actually act as a feeder club to them as well, so I'm not sure how that's going to work. That would actually be bad for the Cavs given how many players have "graduated" from Foothills to the Cavs.
