For those in the states, a $10 per month ESPN+ subscription provides the opportunity to watch all but 2 games a year when they're on Bally Sports Network locally that I don't buy. I always go to the game in Dallas so really it's one game a year I can't watch if I had the time.

ESPN+ also gives access to all of their documentaries, articles, streaming PGA featured groups and holes... it's actually an incredible amount of content for $10/month.

Checked the NHL.TV page today and it has been updated to say that 2022-23 details will be available shortly.

Fingers crossed the price doesn't go up too much, especially with the conversion rates the way they are currently.

With NHL Live, there was only the one option and it was the same price as the SN standard package, so I didn't have to think about it. I am not sure how blackouts are applied with Sportsnet.
That is correct. As a fellow Flames fan in BC you need the Premium version which I got through an early bird offer of $180 (was previously a NHL LIVE subscriber).

From what I read the regular SN NOW package is for Alberta viewers looking to watch their regional teams.

Why would you choose this over NHL Center Ice? The cost is similar.

That's fine if you already have cable or satellite. It's not worth subscribing to cable or satellite just to get Center Ice though.

So, can I still access all the games using SN NOW premium like NHLTV? If not, then what’s the point in replacing NHLTV.

I don't have cable TV and NHL Center Ice is not an option (I believe it's for the US).

I was an NHL Live subscriber last year so I was offered the same price for SN ONE Premium. Which for an out-of-market watcher of Flames games was my only option.

We'll see if it works like it's stated that I will get all games (except maybe games in Vancouver) which I may have to use a VPN as I did with NHL Live.

As an added bonus I get the other sports with SN ONE premium.

Are these codes good for only one user and or just the associated email address? Did Anyone recieve a code that they don't intend on using?

Is the 40% off they are advertising on the website the same as the early bird special? I never did receive an email, but I was an NHL Live subscriber last season.

No, thats just saying you save 40% paying yearly vs paying monthly

The early bird price (at least for ex NHL Live subs) is $179

NHL Centre Ice is still an option: https://support.shaw.ca/t5/tv-articl...ason/ta-p/5852

In my opinion, NHL Live was miles ahead of SN Now and I think a lot of people are in for a rude awakening this season when they look for similar features and expect similar stream quality. I'm switching back to cable and using Centre Ice until Sportsnet gets SN Now up to NHL Live's quality.

I paid the $179 to go the SN Now as I like the ipad/laptop option. Center Ice on Shaw is far superior but no streaming option I am aware of. You cannot stream a recording game outside of your network until the game is done. That sucks. So I will see what SN Now is like. I do not mind it too much but really only watch Jays games on it. The only thins that really bugs is the skip option. Sometimes the arrow keys work for a 30s skip sometimes it is 2 or 3 minutes and sometimes they do not work at all. Haven't figured out why just yet.

Not sure if it is just a link or you need to have previously been a NHL Live subscriber. I had to enter in my previous credentials to get the new account. So now I have a SN Now account through my TV provider and one for the Premium access.

We have Shaw so I am leaning towards NHL Center Ice.

It's similar $, on the Early Bird, to the offer for previous NHL Live subscribers to get Sportsnet Now Premium.

Turns out my SN Now early bird promo email was sent to my spam folder. I decided to give in and pay for it despite their service not being ideal. After taxes, it comes to $200, but I wanted to avoid the temptation of pirated streams. I'm not very good at avoiding the malware that sometimes comes with that.
