Looks like someone informed Vladdy of all the negativity around him saying he wants to extend with the Jays on Twitter and some coming out and saying if he doesn't step up and play like a superstar, to play him like a star instead.

Thank god for that Vladdy insurance homerun. Hopefully Romano can lock it down in the 9th.

Man the Orioles sure got lucky. That line drive was going right to Espinal if they didn't start the runner. Would've been an easy double play. Instead the Orioles have something cooking with their season on the line.

huge mistake to play the shift there as Rutchfield can hit it all over the park
they made it easy for him

Sorry everyone, I jinxed them. I'll take the blame for this one.

Can't get much closer to a homerun than that. Cmon Vladdy. Lets bury these fools.

Clemens tossed 10 complete games and threw 252 innings, winning the Cy Young and MVP.
I don’t think the starters of old would be able to go that distance regularly if the hitters were looking up every pitch they’d ever been thrown by Roger Clemens in between at-bats.

And of course the Brewers had to blow a nice lead against the Yankees too.

This was the jinx right here
Thought it as I read it.
Still a good showing to take 2 of 3. I was thinking last wildcard spot and taking on the Guardians was the most likely scenario. And not a terrible option as they will be the lowest record of the six, and we’ve been better on the road than at home recently.
But with the last week we’ve had and Mariners slow start to their easy season end schedule, maybe 4th and hosting the first wild card is still on the table. Next week against Rays is critical.
