Yeah, he’s unreal. I wish we had got to see Halladay in meaningful games as I think he’d be similar. Stroman had that ability too, though not quite like this.

Romano seems to thrive on the pressure as well

Halladay was also the guy I was thinking about - sadly he didn’t get many really high impact opportunities with the Jays.

Jack Morris in his time with the Jays had some big games.

Jimmy Key was cool as a cucumber in big moments. Under-rated guy because he was over-shadowed by bigger names on the staff. But what a pitcher.

Morris was 0-3 with a 7.42 ERA in four starts in the 1992 playoffs. Cone, Guzman, and Key were more clutch.

Go Jays!

I can’t forget how good Marco Estrada was in some big big games back in 15 & 16

Estrada was pretty clutch, yeah.

Gusman immediately came to mind for me. And Jimmy Key.

What a state of affairs that the MLB Umpiring is mired in. Fans are more excited and chill for losses where an ump isn't a ####-show than they are for wins where they're left flustered and bemused by strike zones shaped like a still wiggling jell-o cube and easily bruised egos.

edit: Maybe Teo is being benched for that lazy defensive play that scored a run yesterday?

Rays pitcher is also a righty and Jays may want to put some more lefties in the lineup against him.

Teo has had a busy week outside of baseball, so he could use a day off.

Teo has struggled recently, both offensively and defensively

Kirk had played 3 days in a row. He'll be available on the bench
