They have given away their plan, it was front and centre over the last 2 elections-
Trudeau sucks, watch out for Immigrants because they are taking your jobs, carbon tax is evil, everything is Trudeau's fault because he sucks. That was pretty much it right?

Are we gonna play chicken or the egg here?
It’s not as is there were weekly project proposals before his election and projects that were proposed and even approved before then were being held up for a number of reasons that had nothing to do with his policies.
In any event, tell us what Pierre is specifically going to do to address this….without using the word Trudeau if you can.

Statement from Mark Hancock, National President of the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE), on Pierre Poilievre winning the Conservative Party leadership:
“It’s too bad that, unlike Andrew Scheer, Pierre Poilievre does not hold American citizenship, because he would be right at home as Governor of a state like Alabama.
Pierre is a career politician who has been collecting a six-figure salary on the public’s dime since he was 24, and he’s spent every minute of his time in office fighting against fair wages, good pensions and a better life for working people. He is not a worker, and he definitely doesn’t get what it means to be a member of the working class.
Pierre has spent his leadership campaign making the Conservative Party a cozier place for far-right extremists and conspiracy theorists in order to sell memberships. This isn’t your parents’ Conservative Party, or even Stephen Harper’s Conservative Party. It’s now Pierre’s Convoy Party of Canada.
His leadership will be a disaster for working people in Canada.”

Typical populist elitist who pretends he knows what life is like for the rest of us, while taking tax dollars his entire adult life. If Justin is inexperienced in the real world, after having been a teacher, WTF does that make Pierre? Hell, even Andrew Scheer worked selling insurance for a few months.

If there is one thing that unites us all (conservatives, liberals, NDPs, maybe even greens) it is that we are aware that the vast majority of politicians, especially the ones in leadership roles, are out of touch with the populace and do not understand the day to day struggles of the working class.

Should be a requirement to be politician. Work at real jobs, not one your dad our dad's friend owns, and not at all related to politics. Working at a "think tank" before 30 should be grounds for disqualification.

People aren’t political parties.
That aside there are some politicians who actually understand, but I think the problem is there aren’t enough working class voters engaged enough in politics to hold hold accountable the politicians who don’t understand.

Perception:
Lefty: everyone is racist, whether you know it or not, abortions should be legal a month after birth, gender is a social construct, biweekly vaccination boosters for everyone above the age of 18 months, praying to a shrine of Justin Trudeau every night before bed.
Righty: racist, hateful, ignorant, stupid, white supremacist, book-burning corporate stooges who just wanna watch the world burn.
Reality:
Lefty: Some problems are beyond the capacity of private individuals to deal with and require collective action.
Righty: My list of problems I want the government solving is shorter than yours, and I prefer to solve as many of my problems on my own as possible.

Maybe he has been shielded to an extent, but his wife hasn't. And most of us know who's the boss in most families.

Even Bill Morneau criticizes the Trudeau government for not focusing on economic growth and for letting politics get in the way of progress.
"There is no real sense of urgency in Ottawa about our lack of competitiveness. It's like we're the proverbial frog in the pot, not realizing what happens to us as the heat gradually rises"
That is a very good depiction of the Trudeau government. They are too preoccupied with "politics" and their perceived wokeness to see that the country is falling apart around them. This government does zero planning for the future, maybe they just think "the future will take care of itself".

She's not the one running for PM. You think she will be making government policy? I know PP is easily influenced by things like Youtube videos, and men shouting at buildings while honking horns, but I'd hope his policy ideas are reviewed by people more involved in government than just being married to the guy.

She's smart, articulate, speaks 3 languages, and with her background will have a positive influence on Pierre. Don't kid yourself.

Why hasn’t she had a positive influence yet if that’s the case?

Ok great, not sure how it relates to what I said but great. Now can you tell us what PP is gonna do to actually address resource development…again without using the word Trudeau?
