They have tomorrow's game, a doubleheader in Florida on Monday, and then a game back on home Tuesday so they don't want to blow out their bullpen.

Going into a bullpen day and a crazy busy schedule, we really could have used a better start from Gausman.

Well, this game was a blowout a while ago. Getting a little closer than I'd like.

Don’t need to worry about Thompson stealing when you give up a triple.

So uhhh...Can they just get out of this inning please?
Pujols hit 696. Absolute monster and legend amongst men. He says he's going to retire. But I want him to Jagr this league and #### people up until he's 45.

What the Rangers did to Arihara tonight, we might see the Jays do to Kikuchi tomorrow. We need him to eat as many innings as possible…even if it is ugly. We need a functional bullpen for the series with the Rays.

Maybe have a good reliever open, get through the top of the order, then give em the kooch

I expect that they’ll do exactly that. Have a reliever get through the top 6 in the order and then pass it over to Kikuchi.

Cimber might be wearing down. He’s pitched a ton this year and might need to have some time off.

Richards to start tomorrow.
I expect it will go Richards => Kikuchi => Merryweather…if it is still close we could see Garcia and hopefully Romano.
The Jays are only 5 games behind the dirty Yankees with a three game series to come. Let’s keep this thing going!

Not going to fully be the Debbie Downer here but this team went through several stretches where they have shown this is not their year. They're making the playoffs but I have serious doubts that I hope I'm wrong about. There hasn't been a ton of come from behind wins, resilience or swagger this year. Something is off, but they are coming in hot which is great.

I guess I feel like the same thing could be said about literally every team except maybe the Dodgers and Astros.
An 88 win team won the WS last year.
The Nationals were 2nd in their division when they won the WS.
The team with greatest regular season record of all time did not win the WS.
Just get in the playoffs and hope someone gets hot. Remember Alcides Escobar in 2015? The guy had a regular season OPS+ of 67 then in 6 games against the Jays bat .478 with 5 RBI.
PLUS: It's simply meaningful baseball in September. Let's enjoy this!

Yeah I've always thought the Jays would be a playoff team but not quite a World Series team. However like you guys say above just get in and anything can happen.

I think the jays have the most come from behind wins in the majors or the AL at least. I think the biggest thing is we expected them to take a step up this year but didn’t happen. That makes people dissapointed. Still at this point they are ahead of their pace from last year. Just those nine Tampa games worry me.
