I love how ppl think the ignore function is an actual useful tool.
I have 3 ppl on ignore and it's useless.
I can still read RGI indexs 3 years later.

I find it effective. I have a couple people on there that were making my experience less enjoyable. Even though I see their posts when quoted it is a reminder to avoid engaging with them, as someone else said

You just need to say something interesting or abrasive enough that someone else quotes it and then they’ll see it regardless. Problem solved and ignore function avoided!
Though in my experience, if you’re doing it right, they’ll tell you you’re on it and then obsessively read your posts until they can’t help but respond anyway.
Being ignored is an art and requires the mind of an artist to make the most of.
