Yeah, there was a news article that had:

Risk assessment tools found Sanderson to be in medium-to-high and high-risk categories to reoffend.

Nevermind the crazy long criminal record given few years he wasn't in jail.

And here we are.

You dont lose a legacy like that over night. Most of those places are worse probably because of an influx of Detroiters.

They're just exporting their skillz now.

Really strange that the 2015 incident wasn't included in other articles.

Based on what I've read here, there was a pretty severe failure by the parole board. I don't see grounds to keep him locked up any longer, but he definitely should have been kept away from his ex-wife and family.

This wasn't a random attack, as initial reports made it out to be. It was a targeted attack on his wife's family.
I have seen two descriptions of what I assume is that same attack saying he used a fork or a butter knife, by that I assume we are talking tableware, that isnt a targeted attack that's dinner going very very wrong, probably why they pled it down to assault

Jesus, I wonder if he stabbed or shot himself as he was being arrested.

Sounds like as he was being taken into custody. Not many details, Global is reporting.

RCMP rammed his car and then he offed himself before they actually arrested him.

From what I gather, he injured himself before they arrested him, and died from those injuries while in custody.

So I guess that means we won't get a motive, unless uncovered in some phone notes or a letter.

Just senseless murdering for no apparent reason.

Well, I can’t say this ending is overly surprising…..I guess now we wait for the review of what happened at the parole board

Seems like a clear Motive. Silence his exes entire family. Clearly just an opinion. But that was an extremely targeted grouping of ppl he took the lives of.

So much for 'there was no indication to say he would do something like this.' Great job justice system.

A picture on Twitter shows him standing up at the side of the police car while they cuff him? When/how did he actually die?

I think most here would have agreed with that until we learned that he has tried to kill someone in the past via stabbing.

Instead of an investigation into the murders, a trial and potential answers to motive now it will be a review into how a suspect died while in RCMP custody.
