I have struggled with this recently as well, and was wondering what is wrong with me. Good to know there are other people struggling to focus on a single book..
I've got three on the go right now, Stormlight Archives by Brandon Sanderson, I just can't finish it... I've got 200 of the 1200 pages left.
Val Kilmer's autobiography, one of my favourite actors of all time but I am honestly a little let down by it. I guess the movies that I found so impactful and engaging were just pay checks to him..
Sapiens, which is an incredible book, but I find some of my views very conflicting with the author, which again is a red flag for me. I used to read a book by someone then research what the complete opposite opinion was and read that, to make sure I had a well rounded view.
Now I find myself just angry at stuff he says and I don't want to read his opinion anymore.
That is something that has definitely changed with age, I blame social media and it's echo chamber rabbit hole it sends us down... willingly... willingly?
