well, looks like not even Monday's made it, in the USA.
#4 in Canada, but#73 in the USA.
It's amazing how many artists I grew up loving the music and thinking were huge superstars, but I later found out that the were big in Canada and didn't really make it far in the USA.
Streetheart, Harlequin, Toronto, Max Webster, Headpins, April Wine, Chilliwack, Trooper, Triumph, etc.
basically the who's who of 70's & 80's Canadian rock.

So I ride home throguh the cemetery, and this may sound weird, but it smells like something died there. I don't know if this is a new open concept grave thing they are experimenting with, but I do not like it one bit.
I was thinking how common it was when I was younger for parents to pay to make situations go away when one of their kids did something wrong, instead of forcing them to accept to consequences of their actions.
Better to pay up behind the scenes instead of having the family look bad.
But I also realized that things probably haven't changed one bit.

Just so you, based on my experiences in France and Belgium there is some deep-seeded resentment there.
The Belgians assert that they were the ones who invented sliced and fried potatoes and despise that they are referred to as 'French.'
Similarly, the French are adamant that they were indeed the ones who invented the concept of corrugated fried bread drenched in syrup and despise the Belgians for usurping and appropriating their 'French' cuisine!
Will the world ever know the real truth? Doubtful!
