I guess if you say you want to punch Matt Goerz in the face MAGAs who police those things will report you and you can get your account banned. I tweeted that but a kind resister warned me right after and I deleted my tweet. My account is fine and now I’ll be more careful.
In another time DeSantis would be another Goldwater. An unelectable loon that right wingers love but who's ideas are terrifying to the rest of the country. These days I'm not so sure.

getting 16 grifting emails a day now from Trump, up from the 10 or so last month, he's clearly raising his bug out fund for when he has to move to Sochi, good to know its taking all that money away from the GOP

DeSantis has an advantage that Trump is making him look like a competent adult and making people not realize how he is far worse and more evil when it comes to social issues.

Trumps affect was minimized by his lack of competence. A competent version of him is far more dangerous.

Fine, there will be riots then I guess. You can't let people like Trump get away with whatever they want because Lindsey friggin Graham is threatening you. Who cares. If he needs to be prosecuted, you do it.

Odds that Trump is indicted, either federally or in a state?
My friend thinks there is no chance because he’s too wealthy and he’s slides from consequences his whole miserable life. I think that if he isn’t charged it won’t be because of his wealth (he may not be as rich as he pretends to be) but because of the fear of charging a former president. I’d put the chance of an indictment at 60-40 now. There are people on Twitter I respect who are saying charges will be laid.

Not the answer to your question but I say there is zero chance an ex US president sees the inside of a jail cell. Convicted? Maybe possible. Jail? I say nope.
I assume he'll never see the inside of a jail cell, but if there's enough dirt on him, at the very least they can possibly stop him from ever holding office again.
