That’s a shot a minute. Sounds awful.

I hit my balls fairly straight which saved time for looking for lost balls. Other than that I wanted to see how fast I could play 18 holes. Not something I would do on a regular basis.

1:15 sounds a bit extreme, but 1:30-2 hours in a cart or 2-2:30 walking is a great pace, and usually when I play my best.

1:15 is crazy but in a cart on an empty golf course not outrageous.

A few years ago when I worked at River Spirit, another guy from the Pro Shop and I played 9 holes as a twosome in 43 minutes in a cart.

last summer i golfed on a monday morning when it was smoky outside. i played by myself and i walked the front 9 of blue devil in about 75minutes. Things were going great until 13, when i caught up to the first group who could not let me thru as the grounds crew was ahead of them.

i would not consider myself a fast walker and that day on the front most of my shots remained in play or i found them easily.

Hoping to get round #4 and possibly #5 for the season in next week on vacation. Then that's likely it for the year. Sadly.

Played round 33 at sirocco this morning. Course was in great shape. Shot 90. Played pretty awful but still happy with the score I guess!

Played a couple 9s the last two nights at Country Side and Legends out here and managed to shoot 44 and 43! My best scores to date.

My wedges are absolutely on fire lately but my irons are loose cannons haha.

Going for 18 at the quarry on Sunday, going to try break 94 (best 18). Need to find some time to hit my irons on the sim before I go to try get those flying straight again.

What did you think? I love what they did with cutting the brush back.

I can’t really remember how it was pre Reno. But I could see on one par 5 (17 maybe?) where they cut it way back and I would have been gonezo if they didn’t!

Biggest changes were on 11 then 15-18. I wouldn't really call it a renovation, but they improved the playability a great deal.

Not sure if anyone played it back in the day when there was only 10 feet of rough and then waist deep fescue. 6 hour rounds were common before they cut it back.

They also cut it back on hole 3, and 8(par 5). Both of the right hand side.

I have not, nor has anyone amongst my golfing friends.

Shot 118 at the quarry today LOL!

Not sure what was going on but I couldn't hit any of my clubs straight, couldn't make a putt to save my life and lost 12 balls.

Just an absolute trainwreck from start (water ball 1st shot) to the end (2 water balls last hole)

Felt like throwing my bag into the water.

That sounds painful. I don't think I have 12 balls in my golf bag.
