I mean probably but won't it ultimately depend on what he knew, exactly. Clinton also got tagged for improper storage but my understanding is that since it wasn't intentional it didn't result in anything.

That's a lot of redaction.

Everything he does is so kind of wishy washy. So far this investigation isn't too tantalizing. His other crimes were more attempts to do illegal things, but he wasn't really competent enough to fully execute the crimes. Hopefully something a little more interesting comes out of this like he gave docs to the Russians, but with what we know so far, it seems hard that this will get him in too much legal trouble.

Except it wasn't just improper storage and he can't just continually claim ignorance. He was warned repeatedly he couldn't handle top secret nuclear documents this way, that the documents were not his to keep, that he couldn't declassify them. He was then subpoenaed for the documents after ignoring the warnings to which the Trump and his legal team returned some of the documents then he and his lawyers repeatedly lied about returning all of them, but the FBI knew exact location he had the documents on site in his basement through multiple close sources. Video surveillance recovered in the raid shows multiple times where the documents were moved/viewed by people w/o clearance.

He knew full well what he was doing and was repeatedly warned and its looking more and more like he was running a secret library for classified documents to rent out to people. Think about it, why would a President who repeatedly claims he doesn't read decide to keep multiple boxes of the most top secret documents and allow people w/o security clearance access? There's also that mystery payment to Kushner by the Saudi for the $2B+ and that all of Trump's security clearances were revoked in 2021.

Heh. I've had to redact documents before in a prior life in my role and it's pretty funny how useless these types of documents are after redaction.

Always amusing seeing Freedom of Information requests that result in 95% redacted documents.

Oh yea, remember the multiple whistleblowers complaints about Trumps plans/negotiation to transfer nuclear secrets to Saudi Arabia? Guess the bill for that came due and Saudi's actually wanted something for their money.

Congress voted to end the universal free school lunch program this week meaning students this year will no longer receive meals for lunch. California is the one exception since they rolled out their own state's universal program to feed all of their students.

I'm surprised to learn that Canada actually was the only G7 country without a national school meal program prior to the US joining them now.

If the provinces run their own education, they should have their own free school lunch program. Same thing with the states.

If the Feds want to help fund the program, fine, but they shouldn't need to run it.

Lower income people still have access though, and they don't go through separate lines or anything and have a lunch card just like the people paying.

Classified Material on Human Intelligence Sources Helped Trigger Alarm
Documents related to the work of clandestine sources are some of the most sensitive and protected in the government. F.B.I. agents found some in boxes retrieved from Donald J. Trump’s home.
Quote:
Mr. Trump and his defenders have claimed he declassified the material he took to Mar-a-Lago. But documents retrieved from him in January included some marked “HCS,” for Human Intelligence Control System. Such documents have material that could possibly identify C.I.A. informants, meaning a general, sweeping declassification of them would have been, at best, misguided.

“HCS information is tightly controlled because disclosure could jeopardize the life of the human source,” said John B. Bellinger III, a former legal adviser to the National Security Council in the George W. Bush administration. “It would be reckless to declassify an HCS document without checking with the agency that collected the information to ensure that there would be no damage if the information were disclosed.”

Voter fraud in Florida - government set up

https://www.politico.com/news/2022/0...orida-00053788

Quote:
Several people who were arrested last week as part of Gov. Ron DeSantis’ voter fraud crackdown were notified by official government entities they were eligible to vote, according to court documents and interviews.

The defendants told authorities they had no intention of committing voter fraud, according to affidavits, and in some cases were baffled by their arrests because counties had sent them voter registration cards and approved them to vote.

The defendants were vilified by the governor during a high profile press conference last week, where DeSantis announced the arrest of 20 people — convicted murderers and sex offenders — who allegedly cast votes in the 2020 election when they weren’t eligible to. The defendants, because of their convictions, weren’t permitted to vote.

Court records show that many who were swept up by authorities have little education or financial resources and are now back in the state’s criminal justice system.
Quote:
Attorney Larry S. Davis, who is representing one of the men arrested in Miami-Dade for free, said his client was arrested at 6 a.m. when a SWAT team banged on his door.

“He was in his underwear, and they would not let him get clothed before taking him to jail,” Davis said. “There were people in his backyard who were armed, and they used a helicopter. It disrupted the entire neighborhood very early in the morning.”
A helicopter for voter fraud? Yeesh

Nobody?

This is part of the referendum item on the last ballot allowing ex convicts to have their voting rights returned to them. The more than 2/3rds majority on the item meant that Ron couldn’t veto it, so instead he made the ex cons pay back a bunch of made up fees and fines before voting rights were restored.

Now he’s straight up creating entrapment situations that are illegal. Fun.
