I have my doubts he knows the exact contract the Flames offered or didn't offer...especially when the number is posted after he signs the deal not before. Maybe they had some interest and he caught wind of that
Flames don't leak much, seems really specific unless his source is Brad himself...in that case he should have filled us in on a bunch of other deals and signings early
