Well, it's my opinion.
Like I said, I hope I'm wrong... and I very well could be.
It's not your task to prove me wrong, it's Kadri's 'task' (he probably cares less about my opnion than you do, and it's not like he owes me anything)
I was aware of the facts you pointed out before I posted so I hope you don't mind I won't change my opinion.
I think Kadri's last season does not reflect his true production/stats and I think he will be nothing more then the player he was in Toronto.
And if in 3-4 years time it turns out I'm completly off, then I'm the first one to admit that. Happy to even.
I mostly don't understand why you dislike him so much personally...guy plays hard and is well spoken
I think past media coverage of him especially in his early career was frankly racist. The guy has a couple suspensions, so do a lot of players. He also isn't being paid like a 100 point player he doesn't need to repeat. Kadri is a more offensive, more physical Backlund. I suspect some will be blown away by how good he is points aside.

Says the guy who has Tkachuk #1 lol
playing style? he is one of the best 2 way centers in the NHL
locker room problem based on what? his team mates love him
there is so much irrational hate of this player
1.22 points per game in a secondary role, shut down top lines, great in the playoffs including OT winner in the Stanley cup finals, we could do worse.
It’s pretty funny considering Tkachuk’s embodies all the things he hates about Kadri. The difference being that from the sense I get is that Tkachuk was a problem in the locker room and I have never heard or seen anything to suggest that Kadri has been or will be.

Thread did not specify past Flames; this is merely predicting that a guy who I've been a big fan of since his QMJHL has embraced being dealt here and then signed to play here for the next 9 seasons will be in my top 10 of all time Flames. I've just put him in my list now. He IS a Flame. How is that an insult? (rhetorical question btw)

Tkachuk also ditched the Flames the first chance he got and Kadri chose to be here
Tkachuk was upfront because he wanted to cash on his career season not because he was worried about us. I honestly don't get how people can have these guys as top Flames when they would rather play elsewhere even for less money....but that's just me. I guess if we are going just by their time here.

A little disappointed there hasn't been more Mike Cammalleri appreciation ... he was excellent.
I think it has to do with when he was with the Flames. The first time around he was excellent, the 2nd time around was during the beginning of a rebuild and it was some forgettable years for the Flames.
