Didn't know where else to put this. Gudbranson was on the Fan960 and talked about signing in Columbus, if he knew that Gaudreau was going to sign there as well (spoiler - he says he didn't), how much he liked playing in Calgary, that tongue injury he had, how the playoffs went, and lots more. Definitely worth a listen.

Gudbranson was a beauty. Maybe biggest turnaround in terms of fan appreciation and goodwill from start to finish?
His signing was almost universally mocked within the fanbase and around the league, and he won over the city as a player and person.

Gudbranson was an absolute beauty for us, and seemed like an outstanding person too. Nothing but great things to say about his time here. Wish we could have re-signed him, but in the business of hockey, letting him walk at 4x4 was the correct move.

Going to be missed for sure and he will have a tough time replicating his effectiveness here, in CBJ. Sutter put him in Zadorov in the right situations within the team dynamic, even with him chewing up the minutes.
