He's a #3D being paid and played like a top ten #1 in the league. And he's not very smart.. at all.
A few tools in his box, but total opposite of a "cerebral" player.

It perplexes me when any and all conversations about his contract don’t include the simple question…
“Isn’t the value of McDavid’s ability to make a $2/4/6 million dollar produce like a $4/6/8 million dollar player severely marginalized when you actually pay them $4/6/8 million dollars?”
It’s the perfect Oiler fan backhanded complimentary question.
They have to acknowledge McDavid’s offensive ability, how he is constantly tasked with shining up their turds, and if the Oilers ONLY paid Nurse $8 million he would still be overpaid.
