It's really just weird and disturbing that beliefs like this, Qanon more broadly, Scientology etc. could be even as common as they are. It seems like something is seriously wrong with the social/cultural immune system when completely nutzoid beliefs like this are able to spread. So many shades of crazy going around these days.

The internet ain't helping. Way too easy to read conspiracy theories and be brainwashed. Stuff can spread like wildfire online.

Unpopular opinion time...when we allow religions to groom and brainwash children to beleive some pretty crazy ####, we shouldn't be all that surprised that they grow up to be adults that are susceptible to even more crazy ####. It shouldn't have gone unnoticed that a lot of the Freedom stuff and events in Ottawa heavily featured prayer and a belief that their god was supporting them in their selfish crusade.

Agree and I'd say more popular opinion than you think.
Yesterday I saw jehovah's witnesses using their young children on the street corner in 30 degree heat to get people to stop and listen to their bulls#$%. This should be considered child abuse.

It's only an unpopular opinion when people find out this includes their own particular brand of religious self-delusion too.

If you asked MAGA supporters, they would probably crown Trump as eternal King without hesitation. They already call him GEOTUS (God Emperor of the United States) They are really just peons wanting a king that looks and talks like them.
I’m very active on Twitter and follow tens of thousands of accounts on U.S. politics (no Trump minions but stuff gets retweeted) and I’ve never seen the term GEOTUS used.

It was super-common with Trump supporters on Reddit before r/the_donald got banned.
This is the s**** staffing/recruitment company she used to run, everything I found about it was self-promotional "stories" planted in magazines as paid advertising.

The wrap on Queen Didulo's van looks great. She must have done quite well in raising funds through a gofundme. Having it for the protest-season definitely is going to bring a smile to all the fans when she rocks it.
