The classic home and away set used last year was perfect.

There was a rumour floating around a few months ago that it would be like the red pedestal but with the black and white swapped.

I agree with this. We have the perfect pairing Home and Away set.

The Blasty reverse retro was very cool imo. Anything else is pure gravy.

Exactly. They have completely nailed the home/away look so feel free to have some fun with the alternates. Blasty definitely fits the bill and the reverse retro program will always be a little ‘out there’.

The main set being perfect is the key to it all.

If we still had the terrible flag shoulder patch jerseys then stuff like a new third or reverse retro's wouldn't be as fun because we'd just want a new main jersey instead.

But when you finally have the main set nailed down and in a good place then you can have more fun and take more risks with your third jersey.

I'd have absolutely no issue if we never changed our main home and away jersey ever again, and just had a new third jersey every year or two.

Only tweak I'd make to the home/away set is bring back the Atlanta A for the assistant captains.

I personally don't think the Atlanta A would go very well with the retro home/aways. That's a very 90s/2000s thing to me. It belongs on the Black C jerseys, it belongs on the Blasty jerseys, it belongs on the Pedestal jerseys, but I don't think it belongs on the classics.

I missed out on the last batch of Blasty jerseys which was a ridiculously short run. Are these going to be more widely available?

Yes. The last run was a single limited-edition batch. This will be a full-time alternate.

They know the demand is huge. The scarcity was imposed on them by Adidas.

I hated Blasty the first time around, but fell in love a year or two ago when we had it for those few games.
Bring on Blasty!

Wouldn't it be a 70s thing?

Anyways I think it looks lit AF. Better than the banal, boring block letter A that pretty much every other team uses.

It's a nice, subtle way of acknowledging the history of the team.

Issue then being the mini flaming captain C next to the large flaming C crest. Always looked silly IMO.

But if we dont have a captain then sure, haha

Flames are adding a neat little touch to the centre line:

The flaming A works well, but the C looks stupid! I think they only used it for one season before going back to a more traditional letter:

I'd love to see the circular shoulder patch we now have as a third jersey. Maybe some of color variations, maybe a charcoal grey instead of black. Black and read jerseys are pretty boring at this point.

The Flames might be the worst for designing jerseys. Blasty was not one I cared for and the pedestal is just terrible. Our third jersey with the word and western style shoulders were about the worst.

The black C was pretty cool when it first came out though. The original reds are easily the best.

Yeah I have to agree it doesn't look great close up, but in the end won't be really noticeable when watching the game.
