Came back to say the new Turtles game is insanely awesome.

Such a great throw back to the original arcade games. I love that there is a 'little kid friendly' mode as well so me and my boy can enjoy it together.

We've played through it a bunch of times, absolutely love it. He's also been really into the original movies now to.. which have still aged well IMO.

It is so cool getting to experience great things from my childhood with my kid.

Tactics Ogre: Reborn will be an insta-buy for me. Still holding out faint hope they add Ogre Battle 64 to NSO but still doubtful.

Caved and bought SWitcher 3 on Switch


Kind of excited, if aware it's going to look a little iffy after playing on PC first. Also contemplating Skyrim if it goes on a deep sale.

Still grumpy about no Advanced War. ####ing Russia >.>

Witcher 3 looks pretty bad but it's still playable. Turn down the aliasing which is over the top by default and makes everything blurry.

Skyrim is surprisingly good on Switch. I love using the motion controls as an archer.

It did come out in 2011

Switch ports usually look pretty good in handheld on the small screen...not so good on the 75 incher in the living room

I'm about 30 hours into Xenoblade Chronicles 3, and love it. I think it's better than 2 for sure. I didn't mind 2, but I really didn't like the main character for some reason. I was also not a super big fan of the gacha style Blade recruitment. Xenoblade Chronicles 1 will still always be my favourite though.

The Xenoblade series in general is one of my all time favourite series. I'm not a big MMO guy, but it's basically a single player MMO. The sense of scale and the way the worlds are crafted is awesome. I still remember playing the first game on the Wii, and it blew my mind that there's not a lot of invisible barriers like on a typical JRPG. If you jump off a cliff, you fall off. Basically, they built a world you can openly explore. It's what I am hoping FF7-Rebirth we be similar to.

I anybody else playing Splatoon 3? I've only played a few hours so far but I love it. To be fair, I loved Splatoon 2 as well and 3 is basically the same game with a few improvements.

Going from the high res full settings I had on PC to the Switch was.... jarring. And then I got over it and have dumped 40+ hours in. Still only on the Bloody Baron quests. This game is still ridiculous. Good tip on the aliasing. I forgot to do that, so will likely make that switch now.



I also caved and got Skyrim a week later. I've never actually played Skyrim without a bevvy of mods and console commands so this could be a bit of a shock when the time comes. I'm also worried that without the difficulty mods I've used in previous play-throughs that I may steamroll the game.

Why can't Nintendo use more of their character roster in more of their games? My daughters love playing Mario 3D World and New Super Mario Bros, but they always fight between playing Peach/Peachette. I know Rosalina is in 3D World, but only after you beat the game, so that's kinda useless. And what about Daisy? She ain't been doing #### in a proper Mario game since the Gameboy days, throw her in there. I'm just so tired of playing Peach referee

Girls are fully represented already, I don't see any male characters in Dead or Alive - Volleyball. Oh wait there is a male NPC

The non-playable characters include:

Zack, the man behind Zack Island. After winning a fortune at a casino in the third tournament, Zack bought an island resort and named it "Zack Island". He now invites all of the girls to Zack Island for a vacation, with Zack tricking them into thinking that the island is hosting the fourth tournament.

That or the original Ogre Battle please. I would like a physical version rather than a digital one that'll disappear at some point.
