Right. Cuz after all, what's a little rape and then hush money to cover it up? Boys will be boys, after all.

I sincerely hope you don't have daughters.

The regular tournament is a highlight for me but I don’t know if I can get excited about this one.

Summer, meh. Many top players out, meh.

I’ll probably watch some of Canada’s games whereas I usually watch all of them plus games involving teams with my team’s prospects.

I’m a Flames fan first and foremost so I always cheer for the team with the Flames prospects I like best.

These tournaments aren’t like the Olympics, where I cheer for Canada 100% hands down. They don’t feel quite the same where my national pride shines through.

I don’t really get cheering for a bunch of rival teams prospects just because they are wearing the maple leaf on their chest.

I know that logic doesn’t sound like it should make sense cause there are plenty of Olympic team Canada’s that don’t have Flames players on it that I still cheer for but it is different, for me at least.

Yeah this might as well be an overage Hlinka tourney for me. Not much interest, half the appeal of the WJC is the culture and tradition around the holidays.

The first player to use the move played for Michigan though, hence the name.

It has been almost 26 years since Legg became the first player to pull off the goal in a competitive game. All these years later, he’s watching his iconic moment being attempted over and over again at the rink where he coaches kids and even on NHL ice, where the game’s biggest stars compete. Legg scored the trick goal in 1996, when he was playing for the University of Michigan. That’s how the goal, which came in an NCAA tournament game, got its name — “The Michigan.”

Even the Canada games are pretty empty. A big dud so far and I expect Edmonton guaranteed a revenue level to Hockey Canada to land the tournament (although who knows with the delay)
