They really needed to get a replacement for Kikuchi at the deadline.

Kikuchi should be DFA’d and Atkins should get fired for signing him

It’s not super comforting to have Dr Jekyll and Mr Berríos, Kikuchi, and Strip/White after Gausman and Manoah. Even worse is that there really isn’t anyone at all in the system to step up if one of those guys gets hurt. Casey Lawrence and Thomas Hatch were beyond awful.
Time for Kuch to figure his #### out.

I was just thinking, good to have the two lefty bats in the lineup tonight with these field dimensions, then Biggio goes BOOM!

Camden Yard looks sick.
Has anyone been? Is it as nice as it looks on tv?

I wish I could make $12 million a year to be extraordinarily bad at my job.

I was there for work in 2015. It was 1 week after the Freddie Gray protests and our American colleagues thought we were nuts to go down there. We had the best time. Walked around the park and the downtown streets and never got hassled once. That's a great ballpark to watch a game at.

That Orioles bullpen is going to be a challenge for us…even after trading Lopez, their bullpen is sooo much better than ours.

Keeping Kikuchi in for 5 and then replacing him with Thornton is something I would have expected Montoyo to do.

After a good first game back, disappointing to see Kikuchi fall back once again.

Jays FO really put themselves in a box with Kikuchi by not adding a starting pitcher at the deadline, but I get it....the prices were ridiculous.
All they did was upgrade Castillo to White in a round-a-bout way. Would have been to nicer to add White AND keep Castillo.
Really too bad that Hatch, Kay and Francis blow chunks, and that Pearson can never stay healthy. It'd be nice to have options when a mental midget like Kikuchi goes out there and issues walk after walk after walk, game after game after game.
Better hope Gausman and Manoah stay healthy....

Fire Kikuchi into the sun. Then you don't have to pay him anything.

Kikuchi, Thornton, and Richards in a single game the “keep the suck quarantined” approach. Hopefully, we won’t see Thornton and Richards until the next Kikuchi start.

Celebrated Square Root Day

Basically create a guaranteed loss day and keep the good arms for the other 4 games.

I doubt it'll happen, but when Stripling comes back I'd like to see a rotation of Berrios, Gausman, Manoah, Stripling and White. Kikuchi in the pen for low leverage inning eating situations. That's basically his job now only he comes in at the start of the game!
