I was pulling for the Cowboys. My old WHA gear would have gone up in value. Plus they could have used the Flaming C logo. The Wranglers works though.

This is awesome! I'll gladly pay to watch these games.
I think this is a good move for the organization. I've always liked the model of having the Pro team and the amateur team together, it makes a big difference in all coaches and players really spending a lot more time together.
The big team gets a better chance to watch the NHL players on the cusp and I think it is great for the city, gives more people exposure to NHL players/AHL players who are ready to make the jump. No offense to the WHL and the Hitmen, but I'd pay to see this team play, I would be much more invested.
Great name too, this is awesome by the org.

I think they'll at least have their own jerseys with custom striping/details that differs from the parent club.
You could slap the logo on the existing NHL shirt, but I don't think they'd sell as much as a unique jersey.

I wouldn't mind them using the same number font as the Stamps.
Doing it for the name bars might be a little much.

This is awesome. Love the homage to the old WHL team and have no issue with the Cowboy theme here.
I am looking forward to being more engaged with the farm team. I might even venture into the AHL thread intentionally rather than accidentally clicking on it from time to time like I do now.
