Funny as we use Weedman, too, and I asked the sprayer guy who said they can’t eradicate the crab grass. Maybe I’ll phone the office.

I understand that some people dig lawns but I don't really yet I wanted something green for the sides of the house or less travelled parts of our yard. I put down 6x6 timbers and filled them with loam. I lazily laid pavers in the bed for a pathway and gave it a good enough leveling. I seeded with a bit of prairie grass and a massive amount of white clover seed. The white clover seed was only $10 per bag and I used two of them. I soaked the beds 3x per week for 3 weeks but I haven't watered it since the end of May.
Excuse my MS Paint polished stone window well mock up lol

I will be doing about 2/3 of my backyard in white clover so I can get away with only mowing it a couple of times each summer.

Genuine comment from self-satisfied 32 year old childless hipster who lives in the belt-line? Or a satire of the kind of comment that a self-satisfied 32 year old childless hipster who lives in the belt-line would make? Impossible to say.

I have artificial grass in back, but I feel like it would look really weird to have as my front lawn when all the neighbours have normal grass.
Also, that would be extremely expensive.

Seems odd to complain about the amount of time another poster spends on CP in a somewhat passive aggressive manner.
Live and let live djsFlames. Complaining about someone making aggressive posts directed towards you while you’re doing the exact same thing back to them probably isn’t going to accomplish much.
Be the change you want to see.

You'll give passes to Pepsi until he does the same to you. Then you'll change your tune also, like other reasonable, once neutral posters have.
I chimed in because of another poster bringing up the very good point about why the guy hadn't been banned by now. It's a good point, I'd say.
If you want distraction-free threads maybe stop addressing the distraction in such a way that you know I'm going to have to address it with a reply? I was more than willing to let my initial comment be a one and done until you guys kept quoting it and dragging it out.
I've been a peaceful poster for probably 95% of my existence here and probably will remain that way, as long as Pepsi stays on his side of the proverbial fence.
If he starts taking runs at me again like when he fully knew I had him on ignore, you bet it's getting run up the ladder to the mods.

I'm thinking for my xeroscaping I'll do a couple of tiers (my house is on a little hill). Mostly rocks and shrubs, but maybe a small patch of artificial grass on one of the tiers like halfway up. I agree it looks weird if it butts up against real grass and yeah, so expensive.
Looking forward to what the expert comes up with to make it look nice, require minimal maintenance and not be too gray/drab as Slava was saying. If the guy gives some universal advice I'll share it in here in case others are thinking of xeroscaping, too.

The X used in Zero scraping suddenly grinds my gears, even though I'm somewhat interested!

I think Pepsi is awesome and always contributes. He is my favourite poster except for a certain dog-hating/bear-hating/scooter-having/garage cat-owning weirdo. Pepsi fills the giant Fotze-sized hole in my heart (Double-entendre definitely intended)
Lighten up, you are not that special.

I agree but I think djsFlames is a good poster too. It’s too bad Pepsi rubs him the wrong way.

If you ignored him how do you know/why do you care if he was talking about you
It's just a message board, you dont actually have to engage with him or read his posts. If you read it because someone quoted him, you can use the power of will to just scroll past it if it upsets you so much

Honestly it’s just really embarrassing to come into a discussion and try to drag it into some memorandum about your feelings on a poster in general. Keep it adult and make fun of my wild lawn opinions or something, because as much as I love the attention, I’m willing to bet nobody cares about “PepsiFree” as a topic as much as you do. Whenever I’ve made a comment you obviously don’t like, it’s been about some wild ass opinion you’ve had. Keep it on that level and let’s have fun.
Ignore me, report me, don’t care. Both are way better than whatever this is.

Pepsi and I have had more than our fair share of disagreements, that much I can assure you.

So I guess that makes it everyone else’s fault? Fair enough I suppose.

Makes one wonder why you let other peoples behaviours dictate yours.

That should ensure Pepsi only posts what you want him to post. And if the mods decide not to take any action because Pepsi’s not really breaking any rules at least you’ll be able to take time to consider whether or not it’s worth getting so worked up over what anonymous strangers post on the internet.
Best of luck either way.
